Hayai Sushi - Forest Grove

I tried talking to him about not having gluten on my sushi. This means no soy sauce. He was very not engaged in what I was saying, which is frustrating. I stated I can’t have soy sauce three times while he halfway acknowledged what I said while his ear buds were in his ears. I should have walked away.Soy sauce was on the sushi and unfortunately I noticed after I already ate some. I think it was only on part of my order . Disrespect then literally poisoned. Awesome

Terrible customer service! Walked up at 6:40pm (they close at 8) and the man working the register didn’t bother looking up from his phone when he said “we’re closed”. The open sign was still on and they were still making food. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

The sushi at this food cart is of excellent quality and served quickly, usually within 5 minutes. The venue is pleasant and inviting.

I decided to try this restaurant after feeling unsatisfied with another food cart. I ordered a California roll and it took about 10 minutes on a Friday evening. The entire food cart area was moderately busy. My overall impression was just okay. The ends of the roll needed more rice as they were a bit small. I found the flavor to be lacking in my opinion, but I appreciated the freshness. I will probably give it another try in the future and hope for a better experience.
