You can expect to choose from a selection of bruschettas, pizzas, pastas and salads topped off by desserts and cake. Vegan wines are also available. This is on the main road of Forest Row and free parking is only a few minutes away. We met our friends, sat in the window of this lovely café, shared pizzas and Buddha bowls and caught up with friendships. The food was ordered and unobtrusively delivered to our table. We were not hurried along and the whole experience was as good as remembered from previous visits. Whilst in Forest Row, do take advantage of the other independent shops and places to rummage before heading back to reality. This village is renowned for its vaguely bohemian living and alternative medicines; being nestled close to the Greenwich Meridian Line and all that encourages!
I had a great brunch at this restaurant with delicious Buddha bowls and a wide selection of vegan pizza options. The venue was also really nice.
I recently visited a small Italian restaurant for lunch. It was decent, but nothing remarkable. The positive aspect is that they offer a separate vegan menu with a variety of options, although you may need to specifically request it. Unfortunately, their pizzas left much to be desired. The cheese used was messy and unimpressive. The service was mediocre, with staff seeming more preoccupied with their phones than ensuring guests were satisfied.
My favourite dish is the tofu Buddha bowl. It’s absolutely delicious! I’ve also enjoyed the garlic bread, pizza and flapjack.
The restaurant is nicely decorated with a few books available for kids to read. The vegan menu is lovely and offers a variety of options.
