Írjon visszajelzéstWhile it's not the most affordable option in town, this bakery is our top choice for delicious, fresh, wood-fired loaves. Every variety they've got is fantastic, but our favorites are the sourdough bastardized and the seeded wheat. Their specialty breads are outstanding as well. Highly recommended!
Nightingale opens at 11 AM on weekends, so I arrived a few minutes early to wait in line. This charming little bakery is located in downtown Forestville, and there's plenty of street parking available. They still only allow two customers inside at a time. I ordered a lime cheesecake, a chocolate cookie, a large French bread, and two thimbles, and my total came to over $40. It’s definitely on the pricey side! I recommend opting for the smaller French bread if you can’t finish the large one in a day; I attempted to eat the leftover half the next day, and it was as hard as a rock. However, the lime cheesecake surprised me with its deliciousness! It was the only flavor available during my visit, but according to their menu, they do sometimes offer lemon and passion fruit options. It's definitely worth a visit; it’s just a quick three-minute drive from Mom's Pies.
Wow, this charming little town really knows how to do things right! The selection of bread here is fantastic. They have a daily menu that changes regularly. Just make sure to get there early, as the selection can become limited later in the day.
Small town business serving up big breads! You MUST try her seeded sourdough! Best grilled cheese bread ever! Focaccia is great and so much more! It's nice she Carrie's some local cheeses too. Worth the trip to Forestville!
The cinnamon roll was disappointing. Very dry and not a single raisin to be found. I don't know what some people see in them. Stellina Pronto far exceeds and for that matter so did my grandmother's home cooked cinnamon rolls. I wish Stellina were closer.
