Soulman's Bar-b-que Restaurant - Forney

Our family is visiting from SC and the service and Doug was amazing

I highly recommend Soulmans in Forney The place is very clean. Very clean restrooms The staff are very nice and friendly. The food is always very good. They have lots of options. My favorite is the chopped beef sandwich on Texas Toast. And The chicken is so so good and always cooked to perfection.

Food is always good but service and atmosphere are great.

Great customer service from Doug and the rest of crew!!! Ordered half a chicken and it was soooooo juicy with plenty of flavor.

While I'm not a food expert, I must say that the food and service at this establishment are lacking. I ordered ribs, but they were very tough and seemed to be over-smoked. Additionally, the flavor was overly salty, and the sides were bland and appeared to be straight out of a can. The cashier did not seem pleased when I visited. Given how rapidly Forney is expanding, I doubt this place will survive for long. All it would take is one competitor with a better product and service to quickly surpass and potentially shut down this establishment.
