Wonderful locally owned Mexican restaurant. Love the combo options. Big fan of the salsa bar and the vegetarian options. Food is made fresh to order and lovingly made.

I’m staying at the nearby Marriott and was looking for a place within walking distance. Given the prevalence of chain restaurants nearby, I was afraid I might end up in the hotel restaurant, but saw this on Google Maps. I liked that it was local but was kind of resigned to eating at a knock-off of the big burrito chains. La Luz put those chains to shame! They had great food and great service! I may have eaten the best burrito I have ever eaten (Atomic Seafood Burrito). The salsa bar was fantastic, and I am going to dream about the creamy green, but very spicy salsa for days to come. Highly recommend.

ACTIVITIES At the beginning, my friend and I never had a good experience finding a Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins that has enough spices in Chile/Salsa that actually there is enough taste. For the record most Mexican restaurants are meh. I feel guilty of spending my money on such gland food elsewhere. This is the best place to get Mexican food in Fort Collins. As from Texas/New Mexico, I have high standards when it comes to good (new) Mexican food. This is the only place in Fort Collins where I feel that I will actually be worth my money. The food came fresh, credible, and STEAMING hot! Even today's Lord worked so friendly and helpful. He had a real energy for him that he was excited to work and welcome us. .
