Starbucks - Fort Gratiot

Your employee Haley is an absolute angel! She took my order quickly, and even though there was a change, I didn't mind at all. She was incredibly kind and brightened my day. I had to ask for her name because she truly deserves all the praise!

1. On my first visit, I ordered a matcha wrap with soy milk and no whipped cream. From my car, I noticed the barista added whipped cream to my drink. Once she realized her mistake, she scratched it off, put the lid on, and handed it to me. When I asked if it was indeed a vegan drink, the person at the window said yes. I pointed out that I could still see remnants of the whipped cream and mentioned the barista's error. I requested a refund, and while she apologized, she insisted on remaking my drink. 2. During another visit, I ordered the matcha wrap again, but when I received it, I noticed visible powder at the bottom of the cup. Instead of driving off, I decided to ask for a spoon to mix it. Despite waiting at the window and being ignored several times, I eventually gave up after a few minutes. 3. On my latest visit, I ordered the Matcha Frap again, but they were out of it. I told the woman my usual order and requested something cold but not overly sweet. I partially blame myself for not reiterating my milk allergy before receiving my drink, which turned out to be an iced coffee with cream. After a few sips, I realized it contained milk, so I returned to the drive-thru to ask about it, only to receive a dismissive response about how "milk is milk," as if I should have known. While I take some responsibility for the misunderstanding, I felt terrible this morning when my baby, who is breastfed, struggled due to my accidental milk consumption. This was the first time in years that I ingested animal milk, and I was honestly horrified. The gradual decline in service has really affected the overall experience I used to enjoy at Starbucks. I understand that finding reliable employees is challenging and mistakes happen, but I think it’s time for me to take a break from Starbucks and save some money.

Upon entering the parking lot, heading south can be somewhat off-putting. However, the incredibly friendly staff consistently ensures an excellent Starbucks experience that more than makes up for it!

The staff is always great here! And the drinks are to be expected - also good! Thank you.
