3711 Beach Side - Fort Lauderdale

Since I didn’t have a car, I was offered a complimentary glass of wine. So, considering the hour, I took the risk and decided to walk over to the poolside bar for a bite to eat. I ordered potato skins with extra onions, thinking they would be a simple choice since I wasn’t very hungry. The bartender brought my food quickly, but he apologized that they were out of onions. That was fine; I was on vacation and could be flexible. However, the potato skins were cold and soggy, lacking any flavor whatsoever. I thought I could salvage them with some sour cream, but even that was tasteless! (And no, I didn’t have COVID!) There was no bacon, no cheese—just nothing to enhance the dish. I ended up returning the potato skins to the bartender, leaving him a $5 tip, and explained that they were inedible. Then I made my way back to my room, feeling quite apprehensive. Luckily, I had the leftover soggy remains of a sub sandwich from my travels, which tasted like a gourmet meal by comparison. I will never return to Beach Palace Resort and 3711 Beach Side again!

I can only assume that the reviews for this restaurant are somewhat exaggerated. This is not fine dining, nor is the food particularly good. It's more of a casual dive spot with overpriced and uninspired dishes. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all, especially given the high ratings it has received.

Awesome Cesar Salad with croutons and dressing. Best salad I've had in a while. Definitely would order again

Our server Daryl was amazing and provided excellent recommendations for the Rum Punch and Crab Legs, both of which were fantastic! The portion sizes and quality were outstanding—truly the best I've ever experienced, and that’s no exaggeration.

Mahi made our friend start puking almost immediately and server wouldn't take that off the bill. took probably an hour and a half to get our food. no one in our group liked what we ordered. fries were good is the only positive thing to come from this experience.
