Írjon visszajelzéstBy the time we received our appetizers, it had been 1 hour and 45 minutes since we sat down, and when our main dish—surf and turf—finally arrived, the lobster tail was overcooked. To make matters worse, they didn’t even offer to cover the cost of the glass of wine due to the long wait and the absence of soup. Additionally, be aware that a 20% tip is already included on your bill, which I found to be unwarranted given the service we received. Honestly, I would rather go hungry than dine there again. I’m usually not a difficult customer when it comes to restaurants, but this experience was truly unacceptable.
During our visit, we spotted several well-known football stars, which initially impressed me. However, once I got my steak, I was brought back to reality—it was one of the toughest steaks I've ever had. This reminded me of last year's ride on the water taxi where the driver pointed out Shula's as the worst steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale and even asked if anyone wanted to get off. Nobody took him up on it, and I suppose we all live and learn. I really wish I had taken his warning to heart; I came to dine, not just to be star-struck by football legends.
If you're in search of a great dining experience in an upscale setting, this is the place for you. Located across from Fort Lauderdale Beach, it’s family-friendly and offers a wonderful menu with excellent fish and steak dishes (though the steak has a bit of fat, which is not a big deal). The atmosphere is cheerful and inviting. It's important to make a reservation, as they tend to stick to their scheduled times.
Having visited Fort Lauderdale Beach many times, this is my favorite restaurant there. I 'm not sure how a previous reviewer can say that their bill for two was well over $150 with no desserts and only one glass of wine. Our bill was considerably less. Also, the valet parking guys were busy, but we didn 't have a problem parking. Shula 's has an enjoyable atmosphere and superb food with a location in the Sheraton Yankee Clipper Hotel directly across from the beach. I 've eaten there twice and look forward to dining there again.
We were in town and thought we would dine out at a nice place. We looked it up on this site and made reservations. When we arrived the parking was difficult to say the least but not impossible. The table was ready at the exact time we made the reservations and the location across from the ocean was nice. The food was very good. Overall the only negative thing I could say was that it was very pricey. Well over $150 with no deserts and 1 glass of wine, plus the tip. We did not have the signature meal just one of the middle of the road. Nice place but not worth the money in my book.
