Írjon visszajelzéstI wanted a recent review of this little bistro restaurant. All previous positive reviews are accurate, the negative are not. Very reasonable to get $20-24 pp for a full meal. Do not miss the tomato soup, rich and tasty with a surprising garnish of bacon and mild blue cheese. The chicken pancake is one you have never seen, as shown below. The shoe-running fries are addicted. Great comfort food, and great service. Take your time and have a great dinner!
Good night. Two couples enjoyed fried green tomatoes (interesting with crabs), duck, salmon, soup and more in the very cozy atmosphere. Tables are close together, but it works. Staff very competent and friendly.
Made my day. I usually visit Fort Lauderdale every few months for maintenance of my bike. I was walking around looking for lunch having quality food. I found it, indeed! The passion they took in just the tea was apparent. They sweeten ever so gently and present it in a clear handled-jar. You can tell it was homemade. My first course was their daily soup, turkey and corn. The soup was chunky , flavorful, and presented on a white, classic cup having character. The soup had wonderful colors and vibrant flavors while the turkey was tender and the corn sweet. Other vegetables were found adding to the depth of the soup. My main course consisted of the shirt rib sandwich. The first bite told my brain I could only finish half the sandwich due to its richness. The sandwich included caramelized onions and Serrano pepper mayo on a kaiser roll. Every bite was delicious and rich. a table next to me ordered one to share! My choice of side included brussel sprouts leaves with pistachios. The sweetness from steaming the sprouts ten sautéing it in butter I presume worked very well in making every leaf earthy, sweet and nutty. I paced myself and eventually finished my meal. Service was exceptional as my main server and his teammate ensured I enjoyed the food, my drink was tipped off, and I was comfortable. I'd definitely be back and wouldn't mind exploring dinner.
Very Impressed. I recently visited the Mason Jar for the first time. I saw their review and decided to check it out with friends of mine. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly host who seated us at a nice table for four near the window. We tried different things so we could taste each others entrees. We had the Duck, which was wonderful, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Our favorite out of the four we tried however, was the Ernestos Stew, a delightful mixture of Mussels, Shrimp and Mahi in a spicy tomato broth served with 3 pieces of Crostini for dipping. We finished with the dessert Sampler platter which gave us a taste of three of their signature desserts, lemon delight, strawberry chocolate pie and a flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. It was a very nice experience from the minute we walked in the door. The service was great, the food was great. We will go back! Nice job Mason Jar
Happening Place in Ft Lauderdale. In town visiting and was told about a write up in the local paper 4 stars. Must've been true because the place was hoppin. Took a little while to get a table because it was so busy, but the food was sensational. It was a great find and we will be coming back the next time we are in town! The best experience of our entire visit to Fort Lauderdale so far!
