Excellent eating great staff only very expensive for what they get

Have been sitting here for dinner in a cold night. it is a small place in fort lee on the main street. we sat and were greeted immediately. we ordered chicken wings and steamed spring rollers to begin. the hunch was crispy and a little fatter than expected, but good overall. the spring rolls were fresh. for a escape I ordered the chicken pillow thai and my naves ordered the pork roast with steamed vegetables and ginger sauce. I was thrilled to try the pad thai, but I was disappointed. the taste was bitter. fortunately, I have an understanding friend and he has exchanged teller with me. his stirring frit was delicious. I felt bad because he ate my bitter platelet, but he said it wasn't terrible. I guess it depends on your taste buds, but I wasn't a fan. I give 4 stars for service, effort and because the touching frit and appetizers were good. a plate should not ruin the rest of the menu.

Aura Thai has amazing Thai food! No matter what I order there they are always the best in the area! My fiancé and I always close this place when we have a craving for Thai. We even chose to eat at their quaint storefront restaurant and was very pleased by the service. Everything there was perfect!

Did takeout. Not much flavor on most dishes. Better go to Jackson Heights for Thai foods.Chicken wings...Good.Thai Papaya salad...need more fish sauce.Basil fried rice... missing basil, lime was old.Chicken with basil sauce... missing basil.Pad khee mao... missing basil.Panang Curry...ok.Seafood noodle soup... Only flavor from frozen seafood and vegetables in it, need salt.Tom Yum...needs more flavor.Tom Kha...needs more flavor.I never had Thai food with cabbage in it. Is it normal?I would try again to see any improvement in the future.

Aura Thai Kitchen is simply amazing. I don't normally go out of my way to post food reviews, but I felt obligated because of how satisfied I was with the food. I have a Thai place two blocks away from me and have made the 30 minute drive each way twice now to Aura Thai! It's that good! I absolutely LOVED the Pumpkin Chicken Curry. It was so flavorful and savory. I was in heaven for each bite. The serving sized are insanely generous. You will get multiple meals out of it. Also tried the Fried Pineapple rice and curry puffs. Both great. Fiancée got the drunken noodles with beef and loved her food as well. Will be back many times. Well worth the hour round trip!
