The Flipside Cafe - Fort Mill

Oh, my Lanta! So glad we find gemstone! The whole food was absolutely amazing! Presentation was on the point. The staff was friendly and helpful. I usually give the quality of a resturaunt through their shrimps and grits or roasted green tomatoes - they both had and oh my word, SO GOOD! I recommend asking for a page of Ranch for the FGT, but I love Ranch. If you really want to increase it, take a spoon of shrimps and grits on the FGT and be ready to see stars! Absolutely not waiting for my next visit!

I visited the café for lunch and had a positive experience overall. I tried the Avocado Pull-apart bread and ordered two large entrée plates. The atmosphere of the place was enjoyable. Unfortunately, our server wasn't very friendly—incorrectly served our drinks and didn't offer any refills. On the bright side, the managers and hosts were very polite. While the chicken plate was a bit on the salty side, the trout and sides were excellent. Overall, I found the prices to be reasonable considering the food, ambiance, and service.

7/28/22 First visit. Had the shrimps and the truffles fries. Excellent! Hands down the best shrimps and dikes I had on the east coast. Truffles, just needed more of this truffle grotto sauce! The staff was friendly. Little waiting time, but perfection needs time and it was worth it.

We arrived for brunch at 11:30. The young lady cleaning the tables was very polite and assisted us in getting a spot at the bar when two seats opened up. The bartender, a friendly gentleman with a small neck tattoo, was impressively quick and attentive. I truly appreciate this level of excellent service and make sure to tip generously for it. The food was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely incredible! I just wish I lived nearby so I could visit more often. The service was fantastic, and the food is truly five-star delicious! The menu offered such a wonderful variety that it was hard to make a decision. I ended up choosing the banana cinnamon toast waffle and enjoyed every single bite. The coffee was excellent as well, but I was really tempted by the unique specialty drinks others were having, made with intriguing syrups and ingredients. You won't find that just anywhere—this place was a remarkable discovery!
