Mastaro Sushi - Fort St. John

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Fort St. John. Sashimi is very fresh. John also offers Shabu Shabu, and nebayaki udon that no one else here offers. Highly recommend!

A nice fancy sort of restaurant. But I feel you pay for the decor... The sushi is over priced and not on par with the Q-Spot down the street.. The dish I had the rice tasted cold and bland like a Safeway deli plastic wrapped tray. And I paid almost 30.00 for the whole meal with tip. Won't be back.

Good clean food. Love the caterpillar! The waitress gave us a sample of Salmon deep fried and it was really good! Decor was not really fancy. They certainly have lots of fresh hand made food with the open kitchen on display.

Love Mastaro! Try the red dragon roll! Or the prawn killer. Best rolls I've had anywhere in the world! :D
