Never had a bad meal here, in which did one of the best bbq places in the city. always busy going to lunch so early. they will not be disappointed!

I have actually eaten at this location multiple times at different times trying to get what everyone else seems to be saying however, I unfortunately have not gotten the a+ food that everyone else says that they are getting. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the item I got was chopped brisket, or chopped pork, it was little small pieces like cubes, extremely hard and dry. The ribs were actually good, they were just not hot. The skin of the chicken was actually extremely dry. The pulled pork was the best thing that I had. As I said, I have gone there when they open up at 10:00 a.m., I have gone there when they were super busy at lunch, now I've gone there roughly an hour prior to them closing and I have unfortunately gotten the same food every time. The people are super nice, I just was not impressed with the food.

This is as close as home BBQ gets around here, every bite is as delicious as the last and won't break the bank! A favorite of mine for the five years I've lived here

Still the best BBQ in Fort Walton. Their main sauce is a mustard based sauce like Carolina gold, but they have a nice Texas style hot sauce, and a Kansas City style sweet sauce. Their sweet tea is good, not too sweet, and it actually tastes like tea rather than sugar water. You smell the open BBQ pit while you're still in the parking lot. This translates to the meat, which is actually smoky rather than tasting like it was baked in an oven. The staff is kind and personable and polite. And the decor, which some people are complaining about, looks the way BBQ joints used to when I was a boy. It doesn't look like a generic chain restaurant, or a nightclub the way several upscale BBQ places do today.

Very good tender BBQ. I'm a sweet sauce kind of person and their sweet sauce was delicious. They offer tangy and hot sauce as well.
