Let me start by saying that my husbands career offers us the ability to travel all over this wonderful country and several others, we are big foodies and absolutely love authentic dishes and atmosphere, which this restaurant has! The restaurant is lively and positively charming…. BUT the food!! We were utterly shook to our core. Having never been a big fan of German food in the past) I was a little apprehensive about dining here, however the reviews were great and so we gave it a shot, and OMG! Every single thing we tried was absolutely delish. The portions are huge the prices are reasonable…. Winner Winner Schnitzel dinner!Kid-friendliness: Our two teenage boys loved it. Nice large tables and friendly staff.
First visit:Pretty good. The house salad was odd. The Cordon Bleu was big.Second visit: A much better experience from when they first opened. Our friend encouraged us to give it a second try. Desiree our server went over the top to make this visit a much better experience. She was great!!! Excellent suggestions. The German band was a joy to listen too. I'd recommend to bring reading glasses for dinner due to the menu's small font and dinner lighting. There's a lot of options on the menu, so ask your server to explain how your choice of gravy and other substitutions work for your meal.Parking: Very tight parking due to sharing parking with pontoon rentals and BnB. If you're coming from Destin on 98, it's almost impossible to turn in during rush hour. It would be better turning in if you were coming in from the Navarre direction.
Um, WOW!! Phenomenal German cuisine. The decorations and waitresses uniforms fit the scene as well. Our food was delicious!!Food: 5/5
It was a great experience. Music is amazing, you can feel German tradition and culture in all the space. Food and beer are delicious. I loved how musicians integrated us dancing the chicken dance.
