Umi Fort Wayne

Excellent change of pace from other sushi choices in the city. Appetizer platter was great across the board. Tempura shrimp and veggies in the bento box was pretty heavily battered. Dr Singh roll was massive and very good. A bit pricey, if you just are looking for a sushi fix, but the other options on the menu will bring us back.Food: 4/5

This place used to be awesome. I’m not sure if they change shifts or if management has changed, but the food is definitely gone downhill. My miso isn’t supposed to be salty. My fish isn’t supposed to be swamped in sauce and still had to pay for it. Curly is not supposed to be watery. Didn’t even get the replacement. And mind you I didn’t eat either. I really hope they get better soon. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Wayne. I’m so sad to see it go downhill.

The freshest sushi! (I'm always here for the tuna cubes, which are divine! Service was wonderful. Atmosphere is very nice.Food: 5/5

We came before the dinner rush and Umi was phenomenal! The vibes and music were on point, food was fast and warm, service was so spectacular and our server didn’t mind giving us some recommendations. We got the crab Rangoon dip and it was to die for, their Bento Box is definitely worth the price as well. Miso was a bit on the salty side for my liking but everything else more than made up for it ?

This place was amazing. Had the chicken teriyaki. 10/10 will go again great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The chef knows what he is doing.
