Írjon visszajelzéstIt is about time that I visited a bakery and have tasted cookies that are TDF! I had the Blueberry coconut cookie and triple chocolate cookie. All right! Finally, a bakery that doesn't taste good to make it? California healthy?! Can wait to go back or visit their other locations.
Everything tasted pretty regular to me. The Portuguese egg tarts tasted like Chinese egg tarts but with a thicker puff pastry crust. They do have seasonal malasadas flavors, so I got the passion fruit filled one and that was delicious. I did like this place because everything wasn?t overly sweet so you can eat a lot of it. The matcha horchata was incredible! A must try!
The egg tart pastry is a must order! Reminds me of the alley way in Macau where Portuguese Egg Tart is completely famous. Their version is way better than Lord Stow?s (forreals). Best paired with coffee (and paderia also offers variety of Coffee drinks can be hot or cold).
The OC Register had an article regarding the Fantastic baked goods so I took the 45-minute drive to taste the donuts, cookies and drinks. So far everything is 10 absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit to try the fantastic items. The staff was very nice band The Bakery was very clean and well decorated
Confession... I?m absolutely addicted to their cookies and I hardly eat cookies! My go to flavors are chocolate walnuts and triple chocolate. I?ve been driving out here just to stock them in my fridge for later. That?s an hour drive and I?d think I?m crazy too if I hadn?t taken the first bite! Each cookie is $4 but it?s a good size (6oz). They are like cookie mounds. It?s crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. Not exactly undercooked but the texture is buttery and soft almost like a chewy brownie. It has a lot of butter but who cares! It?s compared to Levain bakery a lot. However, I actually prefer Paderia more! I like them especially when they are freshly toasted! (I keep them in individual zip lock bags and microwave them for 20-30 seconds before popping them into the toaster oven for 5 minutes. I?m very extra ... I am aware! Lol) I?ve also tried their Portuguese egg tarts and masalada. The egg tarts have a very flaky shell and the custard is rich and creamy. It?s alot thicker than most asian egg tarts, almost like a creme brûlée custard. Their masalada has many filling options. The dough is very airy and sells out in hours! If it?s your first time, definitely check the store hours! You can call to check availability or preorder 3 days in advance if you?re planning to stop by! I?m hoping to see them expand closer to LA!
