Birch Maple - Frankfort

Wow what a splendid little place. My friend and I both had their special pineapple pork tenderloin with a seaweed salad and chicken dumplings. Phenomenal. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked and tender. The seaweed salad had a slight kick to it which added a lovely extra. The dumplings were so crispy and filled with tender and flavorful filling. The Asian sauce was sweet, savory, not too salty, just perfection. I will always come back!

Nick Allison were amazing! The ribs, summer elote corn and bread blossom are a must!

Where to start. Don't go by the menu online, its 3 yrs old. Came in at end of lunchtime, about 1:30, alone. After about 10 minutes I was greeted and was informed re menu, so 5 more mins., ordered a sandwich, was asked about drink, I said not decided yet. 10 mins, decided no drink, so just thr sand. Waited another good 20 mins., now 2:05 pm. Saw waiter look at me then step to computer, and walk away, toward kitchen. Waiter had forgotten to put order in. Finally, received incorrect plate, served potato chips, not FF, which comes w/ sand. Mentioned same to waiter, brought waffle fries, and upcharge item for $3.50. Waiter has apologized for late sand. saying it was entirely his fault but so far has not offered to comp my sand. Finally, asks me how he can make it right I said please comp my lunch which he did. Awful experience.

Fabulous! This restaurant is an exceptional gem in Frankfort. Their cocktail menu is curated beautifully. My husband had the most delicious drink the name has escaped me but it was a Brazilian lemonade topped with Pinot noir. So Well balanced and light in flavor, not overly sweetened . My husband and I split the special for the evening 24oz Tomahwawk. Our son got the ribs. Both dishes were delicious and prepared perfectly. The setting is cozy and overlooks the water. Service was good too. We enjoyed Frankfort so much while visiting on our boat. We plan to come back here again!!
