Cafe Karin - Frankfurt am Main

We went there for breakfast on a Sunday, and we reserved a table because I heard it gets quite busy. So we arrived and were promptly seated and ordered our drinks. They arrived quite quickly but we needed a little bit more time to choose our food. The cafe started to fill out and our waitress wasn't paying attention to us anymore so we had to waive her down to order. The food was good, but nothing special. We finished eating and again we had to wait a little long until they cleaned off our table. We ordered the bill right away. The prices are alright considering it's the city. The cafe is fine for a bite to eat or breakfast but nothing special.

I had the omelette which you can customize as you wish and it was divine! In the 2nd picture there is also the Vegetarian German Stulle and the pancake which were really good as well! Excellent service as well : Definitely recommend.

Cafe Karin is not too small and very lively and student. Centrally located and very inexpensive. It's good for you. But there's nothing here for a real date....

We had a large party but made reservations ahead of time. Glad we did because the place was crowded. Once we got our food and drinks we enjoyed an awesome dinner full of color and flavor. The food itself was decent, colorful and flavorful enough, but the real star of the show was the awkward seating arrangement. Cramming a large group (8 into a space clearly designed for smaller parties wasn't exactly fun. Think elbows bumping, awkward conversations, and feeling like sardines (again! . The staff did their best, pushing tables together and hustling to accommodate us, but it wasn't enough to overcome the inherent limitations of the restaurant layout. While the food was passable, the overall experience left us feeling a bit uncomfortable and disappointed.

Fast, tasty and very attentive service. Locarion: very central and easy to reach. Unfortunately but very loud and tight only cash payment: therefore only 4 stars of 5. But definitely come back and recommended!
