Freitagsküche - Frankfurt am Main

I know it is a concept but i didnt like that we have to do everything: order at the bar and pay directly before eating, go to pick up the food at the bar once it is ready, bring back our stuff to the bar once we are done before leaving.. no real service actually. The guy working there was nice though. Food was good and you could see it is a food quality. However i think it is quite expensive for what it is and there are many others options in this area whixh are cheaper, same good quality and service included. I am not sure i will go back.

Great little restaurant! Really smart idea to bring new chefs in weekly - so sadly I can't recommend anything as it will all change next week. But have not doubt the quality is fantastic!

... a great experience every time, with the cool courtyard location, very good food, great music and cultural events blending to make a lovely atmosphere.The people serving are conveying the spirit of open, casual and hip very well indeed and help make the place indeed.Worth it every time.

Die Speisen sind oft Abwandlungen von bekannten "Klassikern". Zur Vorspeise gibt es immer leckeres selbstgebackenes Brot. Der Service ist echt freundlich. Insgesamt eher unkonventionell und damit besonders. Portionen sind nicht so groß und auch nicht ganz günstig, aber sehr hochwertig.

Die Location und das Konzept sind sehr hipp, die Karte ist klein und fancy. Die Abläufe erschienen uns undurchdacht. Man darf erst ab 20:15 bestellen, was zu einem regelrechten Andrang beim Bestellen führt. Danach wird man aufgerufen und bekommt in der Bestellungsreihenfolge das Essen, was man sich abholen muss. Erst wenn alle die Hauptspeise gegessen haben, geht es nach dem gleichen Prinzip weiter mit dem Nachtisch. Dies führte jedoch dazu, dass wir 2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten mussten. Leider war das Gericht (Kartoffel mit Liebstöckel und Heu) dazu auch noch sehr klein ausgefallen, kalt und geschmacklich nur solala.
