Conrads Alfresco - Frankston South

Always a pleasure to go to Conrads. Not the biggest restaurant but service and food are always good. They make the most amazing seafood pizza! Worth the drive from Mornington to get one to take away

The food here is standard and the pizza is good. They have a vast sea of pizzas to choose from. Family friendly.

We joined our friends for dinner last night at their local restaurant and wondered why they frequent so often when there are many other restaurants to choose from. The food took a little while to come out, but we didn't notice as we were happy caching up over a couple of drinks. Great menu to choose from including pizza, pasta, risotto, chicken, seafood and steaks. All eight dishes were served at the same time and were hot, freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and the owner Stefan was entertaining. Great fun!

I play football (soccer) and so have been to dinner in a few Italian homes - never, ever come out hungry (and as I got older, sober).Last night I went with some good friends and their six-year old to Conrads looking forward to the company but not expecting much in terms of the food. I was wrong.The company was good but was enlivened by the ability to draw all over the table(cloth?) with the provided crayons - what a great idea! The service was efficient and exactly the right note of friendliness - I was definitely left with the impression that the wait-staff enjoy their work and their workplace - smiles and positive statements from every one. We took our guide-dog-in-training with us and .. no bother. That was nice.Now, the food. Just Yum! My friend enquired about an entree size for her meal and looked a little dismayed when the meal came out - it was not entree - definitely a full meal. However, she polished it off with aplomb - good food like that is never going to be left on the plate.Thank you to the staff - both kitchen and serving. A lovely meal. If you, the reader, like Italian food and are even vaguely close to Mount Eliza - put this place in your GPS and get some!

After many years of being a patron with our family or just calling in for takeaway lovely spinnach chicken and pine nut risotto with a tasty pesto pizza bread, it is great to let readers know this italian restaurant has been dishing up very enjoyable meals, with a great blackboard specials selection, Conrads employs young fresh and happy local staff, offer byo wine facilities and is great value.Cheers Trevor
