Family Meal - Frederick

The table was a bit wobbly. We solved it. No big deal. Other than that the experience was perfect. Cherry pancakes, so good. And our waitress was the best.

A friend and I had lunch here and the place was occupied at 12 o'clock, so the reservation was a good thing. The food was fantastic and stuffed, but we saved room for dessert anyway. The noise level is somewhat high due to the acoustics of the place and the number of people, and the only view you get from the stands is from a fairly large parking lot and an industrial search district. (Overall parking is abundant. Otherwise, this is a great place for food or family.

What a great spot! The fried chicken and milkshakes are absolutely outstanding.

We had a reservation and sat right away. During the Frederick Restaurant Week so there was a special fixed price menu in addition to the regular menu. I ordered from the fixed price menu and my husband ordered from the regular menu. Both meals were very good. My lamb dogs were doing something about them, but still tasty. The beds and strawberry tarts were amazing. The deconstructed lemon balm was wonderful. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken and it was very good. He would like more hot sauce for the chicken. All in all, we enjoyed our meal immensely.

I think the the menu has good items but there is little to no flexibility in the special items. if you wanted fried chicken, you had to get the 35$ special. that doesn’t seem necessary. Also, i’m afraid that we didn’t do enough to make our waitresses experience enjoyable. she showed no warmth, friendliness and never smiled. the menu is not large and it’s got trendy selections mixed in with the food you want. good luck getting them to change your plate.
