Sanctuary: Modern Kitchen - Frederick

Stopped in yesterday incidentally to see if they had dairy and soy free options and it DID NOT disappoint. I got a muffin, cookie, and chicken pot pie which I cooked tonight and it was all heavenly with not even a tiny bit of evidence on the taste end that it was gluten, dairy, and soy free. So so happy I found this place. I?ll be back. Worth the price and the chicken pot pie was loaded full.

I am so thankful I found this amazing place! The food is absolutely delicious. I bought a gluten free dairy free chicken pot pie chicken empanadas. They were out of this world! The best part is I didn?t tell my husband they were gluten dairy free. He ate them both loved them. He was so surprised afterwards when I told him! I can?t wait to go back and try more food. I highly recommend this place!

I feel like I found the holy grail. Being on a restrictive diet has been really difficult, especially with my love of all things sweet. The chicken tenders were fantastic. Just as good as the chicken cutlets my grandparents made for family dinners growing up. Perfectly crunchy outside, juicy tender chicken inside, perfectly seasoned. The brownie was delicious. Most gluten free foods I’ve tried have a gritty, fall-apart sandy texture but this brownie was perfectly moist and chewy. I can’t wait to bake the cinnamon rolls I took home.

I have loved everything I have gotten from Sanctuary. I’ve tried cookies, muffins, Arancini, chicken pot pie, chicken sandwiches, rolls etc etc. All so delicious. They definitely put a lot of love in what they do.

I’m dairy free but my hubs isn’t and we both loved EVERYTHING. The location is very humble and unassuming but I want to go back and try more. The chicken tendies were so crunchy and the fries were perfectly salty and the best texture. No limp fries here! Ok but let’s talk about this DF/GF pumpkin roll. Omg I don’t know how the cream tasty “cheezy” when it’s dairy free but wow. The churros were so rich and sugary! Going back to try their pie and cinnamon rolls.
