Skrimp Shack - Fredericksburg

The service was outstanding. The portions were generous. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I dined with a friend for the first time and we ordered the mahi fish tacos and the whiting dinner with fries. The food was fresh, hot, and presented beautifully. The two employees I interacted with were very pleasant. I will definitely be returning.

The restaurant provides excellent service, has a great atmosphere, and offers generous portion sizes for the price. It is definitely a hidden gem. The iced tea was particularly enjoyable, served in a large cup.

I visited this restaurant on Friday and was told there would be a 30-minute wait. I decided to wait and see if the place was worth it. At first, I thought it was a place that only attracted a certain type of crowd, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a diverse mix of people inside. This made me feel like it was a great place to eat. Even when more people arrived and were told about the wait, they didn't mind and continued to order, which further convinced me that this was a popular spot. When my food arrived, I was told there were no refunds, which confused me until I noticed a sign near the soda machine indicating that they made everything fresh. The food, especially the greens and fried Okra bites, was so delicious that I couldn't resist finishing every last bite. The mac n-cheese was particularly outstanding and made me feel like I was in food heaven. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment for all customers. This restaurant exemplifies what good service and respect for customers should be like.

Eating was amazing. large portions full of taste. I have the fish dinner (whiting) with extra garnel. wow.

Tremendous value (Hugh portions 7 pieces of whiting on a bun), great taste (old timey cornmeal coated goodnedd) all for $7. Can't wait to try the other types of fish. Exquisite!
