Unplugged A Board Games Cafe

This place is a great way to try new games without shelling out $50 or $100 on an unknown. Plus, there's a very friendly and laid back atmosphere, good food, and great local craft brews. Also, if you have family, they stock family friendly games and offer snacks and food that kids would like, and their Nanaimo bars are the best in the city. Trust me, if you like Nanaimo bars, try theirs! The only possible way you'll regret it is that it might set the bar on good Nanaimo bars so high that you'll have a hard time matching it anywhere else. My only complaint (and it doesn't significantly detract from the experience which is why it still gets a 5 star rating for me) is that the acoustics leave a little to be desired the place can get very loud when it's busy which can make it difficult to play intrigue and social games. Some noise dampening would probably make an already great experience even better. That said, however, you can't beat good games, good food, good brews, and good fun. Easily my favorite place to go out in town with friends.

Just left there! Never been. Went with my three adult children and one of their friends and had a FANTASTIC time!!!! SOOOO many drink choices, hundreds of games and tons of food choices! Why have I never been there before?? Will definitely be re-visiting! Well worth it! The two guys working tonight were amazing and super accomodating!! If you don't know what to do on any given night, may I suggest this place!!!!

Great place to go and play some games!! Highly recommend it It wasn't really full but was really loud so something on the walls and ceilings would help with the noise I think.

I brought my daughter there for her birthday. The food was so good. The staff were great! We all ate and played games for hours for less then $50! Great time.
