Hjorths - Frederikshavn

Every time we are at Skagen pleier we oh the trip innom Hjorts Hotel for lunsj or dinner. We also did this summer. The hotel/restaurant has a cozy and rural location, and the only minus was that the electric car charger was difficult to get to and work and it was not allowed to go with the dog inn in the restaurant. For us who is used to oh with dog in other restaurants at Skagen, this lit disappointing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and although the service was threeg at the start, the seg is well aware when a young mannish kels were responsible for the serving. He was well diverged and flink, and the service was utmerged from there and ut. We served baconsvor as snacks before the meal. We ate biff with fries and bearnaisesaus, which was good. The Mat was well prepared and crumble well. For dessert we empty a warm sjokolaed with whipped cream, which was incredibly good and the best we hated the smact on Skagen to reach. Utover kvelden ble it played live musick utenfor the hotel, which was atmospheric and cozy river hear. A jewel on the cant places and Hjorts Hotell is a cozy jewel, so we recommend the trip as you are on Skagen and will complement a good meal in cosible surroundings.

We celebrated a party here and had a fantastic evening and dinner. The appetiser and 4 courses where great. Using local ingredients and with very tasteful sauces to all dishes. This combined with a big selections of wines (our choice) to very fair prices made our guest and ourselves enjoying a fantastic evening. Can only recommend to try out the kitchen here. We will be back for lunch and dinner, when we visit northern Denmark next time in Spring.

Very nice meal and feeling. The food was so good. And the staff was very friendly and helpfull and proffesionel.

The hotel is located in middle of nowhere, away from hustle of every day life. The dining room colour is pale blue and the old time theme is matched by the décor. Don't expect anything fancy, but very friendly staff and good service.

One hour waiting to be served lunch time a Friday... cannot imagine what a weekend would look like. They could advice about the long waiting time and we could have ordered, go for a walk at the beach and come back... or find another restaurant. Our children were starving...
