The Bagel Nook - Freehold

This restaurant is delicious! I ordered the Apple French toast bagel with pumpkin cream cheese, along with a few other gourmet bagels and maple butter to take with me. I highly recommend it. I visited on a Monday at noon and it wasn't crowded.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. The most notable feature is their wide variety of unique bagel flavors. If you're looking to try something different like a Flaming Hot Cheeto or Captain Crunch bagel, this is a fun place to do so. Personally, I prefer to stick with a classic everything bagel with butter. In my opinion, the mark of a great bagel spot is the quality of their plain bagel. There are better choices nearby if you just want a regular bagel or breakfast sandwich.

I wouldn't even give this restaurant a one-star rating. I visited yesterday and ordered a tie-dye bagel with regular cream cheese, as well as French toast. The bagel was decent, but the French toast was undercooked. When I mentioned this to the staff, they said that's how it's supposed to be. I ended up getting a refund. My group and I spent around $150-200, but this place is not suitable for children. The owner, Alex, became upset during our visit.

My second time here and I only went back to give the place another chance since so many people in the area recommend it. First off I waited almost 20 minutes after I placed my order just to get one bagel. With the amount of people working there I don't get how an order could take that long. So for just one plain bagel with butter I was charged $3.98. I asked the cashier if they had the right order and they just looked at me and said nothing in return. Being I waited 20

If you are looking for crazy flavour combinations, you came to the right place. If you are looking for a really good classic bagel, look somewhere else. There was no indoor seating and no restroom.
