730 Rest Inc - Freeport

A few friends recommended this restaurant, so I decided to check it out with some companions. I was really impressed by both the food and the service! I’ll definitely be returning.

The service was pleasant, and they have a charming outdoor setup. We ordered the large seafood platter, which was just average. We've had better seafood elsewhere, but it wasn't bad. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food, excellent service, and affordable prices! Lunchtime is especially fantastic with their 'Quick Bites' menu available until 5:00 PM. For around $15.00, you can enjoy an entrée, a non-alcoholic beverage, and a side dish. If you just order the entrée, it's even cheaper!

While this place doesn't have the curb appeal of many of the restaurants on the Nautical Mile, the food stacks up with almost all of them. We almost didn't go there because my wife thought it looked a bit dark and depressing from the outside (it was a cold winter night and the place was mostly empty), but we gave it a shot and we're glad we did. It's not fancy, but was much more inviting on the inside. And the food was excellent. The shrimp was tremendous and I had an oyster po-boy that was so good I started taking tiny bites just to make it last longer. All for a much lower cost than most of the overpriced places along the Nautical Mile.
