I didn't get a coffee but they use geisha beans which is always good! The service was a bit slow and we were the only people there. But the love gone into this food is unreal!!
I have been wanting to try this place for quite awhile so we visited this morning. My husband and I shared the parmi and the beef quesadilla and a fine-apple smoothie and iced coffee. The cajun waffle chips were sublime! Super crispy and hot with a very yummy dipping sauce. The parmi was delish, with a very unique flavour. The quesadilla was yummy, very cheesy with delish green yogurt drizzled over the top. However both of these were not very hot, and the quesadilla had very little beef in it at all and was very thin and not crispy, as I'm used to with a quesadilla. The smoothie was yum, very fresh and the iced coffee was good. However these came out after our food was served which was a tad annoying. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out, the food is tasty and when we visited there was a man and a woman playing guitar and violin which was lovely.
The owners of Kazoomies obviously care very much about what they do ... you can taste it in the food ... fresh ingredients, lovely balance of flavours, a varied and pleasing menu and artistically presented food. All the staff are gentle in nature, patient and very accommodating. Wish we could have a Kazoomies in Melbourne!
Ordered Wharfies breakfast & kale me as a healthy choice on Sunday morning. Brilliantly flavoured, no flaws and the extra 0.5points to the live music makes the whole dining experience in forgettable!
Causal café in the E-shed markets with mainly dinning under the verandah overlooking the wharf. Service is at the counter and they bring the food and coffee to your table. I ordered the Zaldeesh’s lamb red Shakshuka with had poached eggs in a slow cooked tomato sauce with cinnamom’d kadaif lamb and a long Mac topped up. Food and coffee came out fast. The coffee was excellent. The food was served on a tray with the Shahshuka in a small fry pan and the handmade pitta bread on the side. The food was of course tasty and the lamb melt in your mouth, but a big negative was that the dish came in a non-stick pan. When will restaurants stop serving things that cutlery goes near in non-stick pans? For this reason I am marking down, otherwise I would have given a 4.5 as the coffee and food were very good.
