Tavern 519 - Frenchtown

Another amazing meal at Tavern 519! From the attentive service from our waitress Tania to the delicious food prepared by an amazing chef! They always have new innovative menu items to mix it up from the classics on the menu! Tonight we had the Bavarian pretzel appetizer, Mahi Fish Taco and the Halibut special! A can't wait until our next visit!

My family ate at Tavern 519 last month for the first time and everyone enjoyed their experience. There was plenty of parking and we were seated immediately upon arrival. From appetizer to dessert, the food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Was blown away by how well-executed the food was at Tavern 519. As with many others, had heard much about the restaurant and finally made our way there on a Sunday evening. The pan-seared salmon was cooked to perfection with a gorgeous crust and the mushroom risotto cake a savory addition to the plate. The short ribs were melt-in-your mouth tender and accompanying vegetables cooked with attention. We requested a special cocktail which the bartender executed flawlessly. Service is friendly, attentive and efficient.The vibe is come-as-you are whether it be jeans and a t-shirt or dressed up. Definitely has earned a place on our (short) roster of great local restaurants.

I went there for the first time and it's definitely making the list of places to go again. The quality of the food was excellent. I had the 519 burger cooked medium rare and a beer. The burger was done to perfection. The size of the burger was probably around 1/2 lb. The beer was brewed exclusively for the tavern and it was great. It had a very nice citrus flavor. I highly recommend the tatar tots for the side dish. My buddy had the fish taco and he said it was really good. My other buddy had the short ribs and he gave it two thumbs up. My wife had the Mediterranean chicken and it was pretty good. The portion sizes for everything was very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Our server was Danielle and she was great.

My wife and I dined here the other evening and we loved it! The tavern is hidden away off the beaten path, which made it even more enchanting. As entrees, we both ordered the Red Wine Braised Boneless Short Ribs – Red wine braised, scallion whipped potatoes, roasted baby carrots, natural jus. OMG, it melted in our mouths. No need for a knife, either. We'll definitely be coming back.
