The sushi options are truly outstanding. The mamba chili strings were delicious! I also love that you can have hibachi in the dining area. And that geisha martini was fantastic! My family and I are grateful for such a wonderful evening!
I visited this restaurant for the first time, as my friend is a fan of their curry. I thought the curry was good, but I'm not really a curry person. The texture of the vegetables was excellent, though! They provide a generous amount of vegetables—enough for about three people. However, the bowl of rice is only enough to serve one and a half people at most. I enjoyed the sushi as well. I wanted to try the caterpillar roll, but since they don’t make it with tempura shrimp, I opted for the next best option. The potato sushi was fantastic! I’ve never had a tempura sweet potato sushi roll before. One downside was that the service was a bit underwhelming.
I arrived right at 4:30 PM to avoid the crowds, and I was surprised to see a line outside, which suggests this place is quite popular. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was attentive throughout my meal. I ordered the Lobster Ceviche along with a sashimi combo. The lobster was beautifully presented and tasted exceptional. The sashimi was served in a traditional boat, and I appreciated that there was less daikon than usual, with the fish resting on perilla leaves. Typically, I eat the daikon to counteract the fishy flavor, but the perilla leaves were a delightful addition that paired wonderfully with the sashimi. If you're someone who is sensitive to strong fishy tastes, I highly recommend giving these leaves a try. I found myself wishing they offered a side of perilla leaves! Overall, I had a wonderful experience on my first visit and will definitely return in the future.
The first time I visited and it was good. I ordered New York Steak and Shrimp and two **** lobsters. It was good! Our cook was great too. Great experience! Definitely recommend!
Dining at Hino Oishi is always a lively experience. The teppanyaki performances are entertaining, and enjoying teppanyaki is a delightful treat that’s worth having every now and then. The enticing aromas are simply irresistible. If you can, make a reservation, as the wait times can be unpredictable. When the wait is lengthy, we often head to the bar for a few cocktails to help pass the time.
