Tasty Garden - Frisco

The delivery driver called me while outside the apartments and yelled at me to come and get my order. Prior to that, the owner called to ask if I would be leaving a tip. When I told her that I didn’t have enough to tip at the moment, she hung up on me. I never received my order and had to wait for a refund. The customer service was very disappointing!

I had the absolute worst experience at this Chinese restaurant. They tried to serve me cold, stale crab Rangoon and provided a bowl that was mostly filled with vegetables, with just a few pieces of chicken for the Szechuan chicken dish I ordered. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they insisted that this was what I had ordered and refused to make any changes. The only reason I'm giving them one star is because they did graciously offer me a fresh order of crab Rangoon. I will definitely not be returning.

We love the lo mein and chow mein in this restaurant. We always get takeout from here. Yesterday we got Chicken Chow mein extra spicy and veg chow mein extra spicy with egg. Food was good as always and order is ready in 10 mins

Then COVID hit in 2019, and I found myself craving their delicious dishes. As we all know, local restaurants were hit particularly hard during that time. When we visited, they were struggling, but thanks to their amazing food, they still had plenty of takeout orders. Their website is user-friendly, making it easy to order online for pickup. We've been getting takeout at least once every two weeks since then. My family has also dined there in person (since October 2021). Usually, we’ve been the only customers there, but I've noticed more families coming in lately, although we always keep our distance. If you loved Tasty Garden before, I encourage you to support this local gem. The same chef and the two older ladies (and occasionally a younger lady) are still there and truly appreciate our visits. Little do they know, they’re rescuing me from having to cook! I absolutely love this place!

My second time in this restaurant, this time the experience was terrible, I ordered a plate of spicy Korean beef, another with orange chicken, the meat was tough and the worst thing was that it was accompanied with fried rice prepared with egg and thesmell stunk, it seemed that the egg was rotten and they did not notice , when making the observation, they answer me that if Iwant more rice, I must pay extra, the worst of all is that they do not care about satisfying the customer. I do not recommendthis place, 3 customers less!
