Mi Ranchito - Fruita

During my time in Colorado, I was disappointed to find that the Mexican food was lacking in authenticity. It seemed like many places needed to reconnect with their roots to satisfy customers. However, Mi Ranchito stays true to tradition and delivers truly authentic Mexican flavors in their dishes. The food is amazing and the staff is fantastic. This is definitely the best Mexican cuisine in the valley, if not all of Colorado.

If you're looking for a restaurant, this is not it! It's more of a cafeteria style. Chips and salsa aren't included with your meal. The food tasted okay, but the restaurant wasn't busy and our meals came out one at a time. The food was lukewarm and the dishes weren't hot enough to melt the cheese. The portions were small.

Although we enjoy dining at this restaurant, we have experienced issues with them not answering the phone and having inconsistent opening hours. However, they do have incredible tortillas. It is frustrating that they are supposed to close at 4, but sometimes they show up at 3:30 and find the space empty and locked.

Like a small fancier taco bell. had a taco, rolled taco and tostada. probably no longer.

Best burrito I've found between Denver and Moab! Chewy, toasted tortilla. Recommend the adobada with the asada as a good alternative.
