Tavern On The Locke - Fulton

Usually has quite decent food, not really worth the price and sometimes the food is not very good. The salad bar is definitely worth nothing and everything in everything is a good experience, although there are other places in the city that are better. Chicken Parm is one of their best dishes, but would not recommend getting shrimp here.

Great outdoor seats, service is sometimes slow, but mostly because I think they are always under personnel. Eating is good with big portions. Great place to go in summer and dinner and drinks outside!

We visited the jazz festival here. The band Brownskin was the last in the line-up and is our favorite local band. The festival was small and ran well, plenty of space to sit or dance with clean bathrooms. Food options were limited, but good, and a tavern entrance steps from the stage area.

This was recommended while we had a chance in Fulton. It sits next to the lock system and has inner and outer seats. We ate outside and it was relatively picturesque with about 12 tables, some covered by a roof, others with table marks. The menu was pretty good, I had Philly cheese steak and waffleries and the other order was the Mexican salad with chicken both were very good. There is an outdoor bar under cover and this night played a three-part band jazz. Nice atmosphere and would go again.

Wonderful restaurant! View of the Oswego river canal system, Barge canal lock number 3 from our table. Easy parking, friendly attentive staff, delicious food. Great find, looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.
