Just arrived in madeira, after a good lunch and a nice walk we looked for a place where we sit and enjoy a good beer that looks at the sea. bierhaus was perfect! on the harbour, beautiful view and incredibly great selection of beer and drinks. perfect even if you want to eat or eat. there is also the chance for a beer tasting. beautiful location to relax good beer to drink!

If you are looking for a good evening for a drink, it is a great place because the list of the drinks is very long, get what you want baby . What about food it is more to accompany drinks rather than have as a dinner meal because of the choices. Staff is nice and everything was served kinda fast compared to the most Madeiran restaurants.

We ate here two times in the last two days. The tuna skewers are the best I've had. Sitting out on the deck the weather was perfect. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our travelling companions had this German beer garden in their sights after a few hours meandering delightful Funchal. It's a micro brewery, pub/restaurant overlooking the port and the sea. It was our last stop of the day and my advice if you are going here be sure the rest of your day is free as it's likely that you'll go lethe wards and be sure you can get back safe from whence you came. As John Keats put it: My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk, Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk. Well our hearts didn't ache but we go toward drowsy numbness alright. We have only ourselves to blame having ordered the nectar of their 12.6 abv stout probably one of the best I've ever tasted. This was about 3pm and foolishly we had last eaten at breakfast time. I opted for an 8.5 for my second pint (and last) again very moreish. They do serve hot and cold food which all looked wonderful and the staff are a cheerful bunch too. It had a great vibe and ambiance. I'm glad we tried it once and though really delicious I'll stick to cappuccino, and good luck to those with greater resistance than I. We had two drinks each with ladies on smaller servings and altogether 71 euro.

Although beerhouse has not received the best reviews on TripAdvisor or yelp, I have to say we had a very nice experience here. We went to watch one of the euro cup soccer games that was being televised, and it was a very lively crowd. We received good service and enjoyed a light snack and a flight of beer. The beer was tasty, and the serverDid a very good job explaining the selection. I really liked the location right on the marina, and the servers were kind enough to take our photos while we were there. I am very pleased that we went here and if we had more time in Maderia I would have liked to have gone back.
