Írjon visszajelzéstThe wine dinner on Feb 7 was outstanding. Kudos to Savannah and her staff!!
Awesome. Would have liked more wine in the glasses for each course. Otherwise, perfect!
What has happened to Bonefish Grill in Gainsville VA? We come here on special occasions and just as treat for ourselves. We love this restaurant and food and we will go back, eventually ... but this past experience on Feb 5th was one for the books. Our conclusion was there appears to be a communication problem and coordination with management, the wait staff and the kitchen staff. Although there were plenty of staff bustling around, our table service was as if they were short handed. We thought is was odd to see what appeared to be some level of management bussing tables we thought should be delegated. First of all the drinks were off: the ice tea had too little ice and the diet coke did not taste like it should. The soda was replace with ice tea, but we found out we were charge for three drinks instead of two. Then we order two house salads (which we love) but they arrived at different times, which was an unpleasant for both of us. As it turned out the salad that came early was limp, not fresh, and the house dressing was disappointing. It tasted off from what we have been accustomed to. My wife ordered crab legs (which she enjoyed very much) but the accompanying melted butter was served with the salad and was cold by the time the entree arrived. I order cod imperial (which was very good) plus two sides however was served only one side which was eventually corrected. Unfortunately my salad and entree were served at the same time and the broccoli was cold by the time I got to it. The jasmine rice was served later separately and the taste was unimpressive and appeared to not be freshly made. We though we had seen it all as our table was filling up with dirty dishes. A sympathetic server at another table must have heard out conversation and attempted to bus some of the dishes from our table, but in the effort dropped used plates from the other table on to our table. All we could do at that point was laugh and tell the embarrassed waitress not to worry about it. Finally we waited, and had to ask for refills on ice tea but to our disappointment we were served unsweetened ice tea that was sour and undrinkable. The waiter volunteered to correct his mistakes on the bill. In spite of not asking for anything, management attempted to make it right as well. Next time, and we will be back eventually, we will keep in mind we may have inexperience wait staff, and trust the kitchen staff knows the quality of food being served. Bonefish Grill is still one of our favorite places to dine.
There really is no bad entree to order here. All the food and staff are great! And they make a great old fashioned!
Terence always makes us feel like we’ve chosen just the right place to relax and enjoy an amazing dinner.
