Aside from the decor, this restaurant offers great food and service. The pizza is soo filling and they have really good specials! Just wish the decor was updated because it feels dated and reminds be of grandmas basement. This can really improve the ambiance in my opinion!

We were looking for a new pizza place to eat in Gainesville and came across this place. Without we would give it a try. We were not disappointed it was very good pizza It's a deep dish style. I was upset about the cost of a domestic beer here for a bottle of beer cost me $7 I could have got a microbrew for less which was $6. This seems backwards to me and a little bit of price gouging for beer if you ask me. Other than that the server was a little goofy but the food was great and the environment and atmosphere were fun and entertaining. We will typically only get a cheese pizza from a new pizza place just so that we can try out the crust and sauce without any other flavors getting in the way. The garlic knots were amazing and quite delicious. You have to get them if you come here. It's mandatory I swear I know it's not written anywhere but it just has to be this way. Hopefully they figure out the beer situation because it'll just be water from here on out otherwise.

In town for an appointment at Shands, and heard it was worth a visit. Glad we went! The “Big Leo” deep dish was tasty and filling, and a medium was definitely enough for the three of us. Tried the garlic knots swimming in garlic and butter, and delicious. Will keep the vampires away for sure. John provided excellent and fast service. Would’ve been nice to have straws, but apparently they don’t carry them, so bring your own. Decor is vintage 80s so just go with it.

A local favorite since 1976. Leonard's is a solid choice if you're looking for homestyle Italian Food. Their think pan pizza is packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. Their garlic bread is amazing. All in all a laid back spot for a family meal. They have fantastic lunch specials daily too. If you like pizza and pasta... give this place a try. Pro tip: order a second order of Garlic Knotts to-go... you'll thank me later.

This place was well recommended by a co worker, so we ordered takeout for the first time today (Wednesday afternoon large cheese pizza well done. Our order was ready in 30 minutes and still very hot. Cost $25 including tip. The inside of the restaurant reminded us of 90s Pizza Hut, wood panels and booth seating. Only a handful of people dining in. The pizza was great. Cooked just right and fresh. Satisfied the pizza craving 100%. We'll be back again when we're in the area :
