Cannova's Pizzeria - GALENA

We will try again more of their pizza. great eating and service!

Had dinner at Cannovas on May 13 with my husband and 2 adult children. The food was excellent, but even better than the food was our outstanding waiter! I’m so sorry I didn’t catch the young man’s name (tall, fair hair and skin) but he could not have been more attentive and lovely to us! At the end of the meal we were going to use a gift card we received from a friend (not knowing the Freeport Cannovas/ Galena owners were two separate entities and he was so sweet in explaining it (we didn’t mind at all). Food was excellent and new owners seemed to be taking great care of the patrons. Really yummy red sauce and pizzas! Would highly recommend!!

Pizza was divine! Four of us split a large pizza along with their cheesy garlic bread (thank you to the man on the phone who said we needed to order these We opted for half Chicken Tuscany and half Typo. Both were delicious!Restaurant was remodeling while we visited so we chose take-out. Will definitely come again when we visit Galena next time!

Great pizza. You can tell they use fresh ingredients simply by how the pizza tastes. I also recommend the garlic bread appetizer. The wait staff is very friendly and perfectly attentive. Would definitely go there again.

Great pizza. We ordered takeout. Get there early if you plan on dinning in. It is a small restaurant and always busy.
