Green Street Tavern - GALENA

This restaurant was a disappointment. The food was just okay. We had the chicken cordon bleu and the club sandwich. The sandwich was good but overpriced. The chicken tasted like something that was frozen and reheated. We were also charged an extra $5 each to substitute fries for a baked potato but nothing was communicated to us until the bill came. Overall, prices were too high for food that was so so $50 for 2 people).

Good food. Good location and service. Great lunch option when in town in the historic Desoto House Hotel.

Their ranch was not good. Service could have been better.

Lovely place to eat. Plenty of gluten-free options or accommodations everything was absolutely delicious! Our server, Kylie, was very friendly, attentive helpful. The historic decor was incredibly interesting as well. Definitely take a bit of time for a quick walk around the building check out the history! Wonderful! Dietary restrictions: Accommodations for gluten-free. The pulled pork nachos were fantastic my friend's gluten-free bun had good taste as well as texture wasn't crumbly or falling apart as some do.

On the plus side: a much wider selection of sides than seen on many lunch menus. It was nice to get a side of fruit instead of fries. On the negative side: the homemade chips were a disappointment: chewy instead of crispy and bland--needed a bit more salt. Service and atmosphere were very nice.
