Maid-rite - Galesburg

Maid-Rite is a classic mom-pop place. Come here for good food at a reasonable price. It is signature meal is loose meat hamburgers that you eat with a spoon. I know that sounds strange, but trust me, it's absolutely amazing. An amazing burger for $2,30, you just can't beat that. The service is phenomenal and the food comes out quickly. My only complaint is that they only take cash.

Another Galesburg staple for a quick lunch. A must stop if you are in town! I love the cheese rite with ketchup, mustard, and pickles... and make sure you get a green river to drink!

So simple yet so tasty! Friendly staff, fast orders great food! No secret how they have lasted so long. Great work!

Love the maid rites and Chili. Employees are very friendly. Service always excellent.
