Mike's And Grill - Galesville

This place was a fantastic discovery. We got into town too late to visit the only cafe around, but the folks at the gas station pointed us to Mike's. I ordered one of the best burgers I've ever had, while my husband enjoyed a crispy chicken cordon bleu sandwich that he absolutely loved. We even met the owner and heard all about the history of the bar and the area. It turned out to be a fun and wonderful lunch experience.

Mike's Bar has become one of my favorite spots for a meal. The current owners have really revamped the place, giving it a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The food is solid, though it's not overly extravagant. Their pizzas are particularly enjoyable, and each month they feature a special pizza in addition to their classic offerings.

This locally owned restaurant offers phenomenal food and has ample space for everyone. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.

I tried the pizza for the first time, but unfortunately, it wasn't to my taste. The crust was quite hard, and while the toppings were well-portioned, I felt there was too much cheese. On a positive note, the fried green beans were fantastic and the fried mushrooms were good too. I’ll definitely come back, but I’ll skip the pizza next time.
