Galvez Grill - Galveston

This place is incredible! We began our evening with drinks at the bar, where the cocktails were delightful, and the bartender was friendly and attentive to all the guests. After enjoying those fantastic drinks, I was eager to have dinner in the restaurant. The staff surpassed all my expectations. Miguel, our host and server, made our experience truly enjoyable. And the food—oh my goodness, the food! It was absolutely exquisite. We started with bacon-wrapped shrimp, which was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. I could have easily ordered another round, but I needed to save room for the main course. Once again, the food was just outstanding. We ordered the Galvez House Salad, NY Strip, Gorgonzola mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the black butter took it to another level! I only wish I had space for dessert; I'm sure it would have been fabulous! If you have the chance to dine here, I highly recommend it!! I will certainly return the next time I’m in town. Thank you for such a delicious and remarkable meal! It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

From the moment I went to the lobby, I was in awe. It is full of fun and energy with the bar and restaurant all over there. Live music of piano and standing bass. Enjoy the bar before our dinner. Dinner was great. Had the Prime Rib Special. Great meal and maize bread muffins were for skurril to die! I also enjoyed the hot tub. It was February, so pool too cool for me. My only problem would be a family that allows her babies to use the hot tub as a swimming pool. They had no swimming diapers and pulled babies regular diapers. Pull back their swimsuits and put them back into the hot tub. This should be monitored more by hotel staff. Our room was great. Comfortable bed and beautiful views of the hotel and the coast.

The best place for Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, Easter brunch. Food is ingenious, huge buffet, excellent range of high quality food

It was wonderful. We loved the pool. Our room was perfect, but the Sunday breakfast buffet made our stay. Nanette was our server and never lets us run low on Mimosas. She went beyond and beyond to make our day. Food was amazing. We can't wait to come back.

Incredible! Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. I took my mom to celebrate her 75th birthday, and with our diverse group, there were so many options to choose from. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. Afterward, we relaxed at the piano bar, and the overall experience was wonderful. Most importantly, my mom was absolutely thrilled.
