Hooters - Galveston

Everything was decent. My smoked wings were actually top notch. I really enjoyed them. The appetizers were as expected. Cool environment. Took our 9 month old and everyone was super nice to her. My wife's chicken sandwich was good she just wished you could get hotter sauce. Food all came out pretty fast. Will def go back we enjoyed it. Had a huge tv for football too.

The location is quite nice and clean, but the service was a bit slow. The food wasn’t very hot in temperature, but it was good overall. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was decent.

This was by far the worst Hooters I've ever been to! I've visited several locations in Texas and other states, and this one was a huge disappointment. We weren't greeted when we arrived, so we had to find a seat and grab our own menus. The wings we ordered were ridiculously small, and they charged $1 for each ranch dressing. For a 45-piece order, we only received four tiny containers of ranch!

However, things started to go downhill from there. After taking our order with a notepad—something that seems to be increasingly rare—she disappeared for an hour. We had ordered an appetizer and two sandwiches with regular fries and one each of curly and waffle fries. My husband and I were having a nice conversation, but it became evident that our waitress had forgotten about us. We received no check-in, no appetizer, and no drink refills during this time. Another waitress stopped by to refill our drinks just before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the regular fries were cold, the burgers were only lukewarm, and there was still no sign of the appetizer. When we asked about it, our waitress admitted she had forgotten to submit the order. We finished our meal without ever receiving the appetizer, and no one checked on us again. Eventually, another waitress came by to inform us that the appetizer had been "frozen," and therefore couldn’t be prepared. We told her we understood and just wanted the bill. We had hoped for some sort of discount due to the service issues, but instead, we only got two free cups of ice water for our trip home. Hooters, you need to do better!

Fun for the whole family! I recommend a buffalo chicken sand with 3-mile sauce, speck and Cheddar cheese!
