The Gander Bread Box Bakery and Cafe

No complaints at all about this restaurant. It's a local bakery that serves light breakfasts and lunch type fare. My son and husband have had their sandwiches, delicious and I had a breakfast wrap, also delicious. The owner is quite helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be prices are a little expensive but you are paying for quality. I would eat here again. They have a well stocked bakery as well, excellent prices. We bought a loaf of freshly baked/sliced bread for $1.99 It appears to be quite a popular place for the bakery, I can see why.

Staff is friendly and the food is pretty good.I ordered the Touton poutine with Cesar salad. The food was pretty good and an ice coffee.I was satisfied with my food and my friends had a bagel breakfast sandwich and said it was ok.Would definitely try again

My sister eats gluten free and they had so many options - bagels, wraps, English muffins and cookies. She was able to have any sandwich she wanted. All the sandwiches are made with real meat, not deli meat, and are delicious. We met the owner and she could not have been more welcoming and helpful!

We had a wonderful lunch here. The bread was fresh, the soup was hot and delicious and the people were wonderful - we would love to go back.

Stopped in at this bakery and Cafe and enjoy a sandwich and lemon tea. Serve was excellent, friendly and informative concerning the area. Many freshly baked items available including breads and desserts. Would recommend a stop for your sweet tooth.
