Humboldt Grill - Garberville

The food was great, very tasty and decently priced. They have several local beers. The service was timely and friendly. I would go here again if I am in the area!

The food is pretty good here, normally get the super burritos but have also had the pistol burger which was pretty tasty. The deep fried zucchini and mushrooms are a great app. I did order the nachos once and then realized I could have made those at home. We do enjoy their Chile Verde and Chile Colorado.

The food and service at this restaurant are great. The smothered super burrito was outstanding, with plenty of meat inside. The tri-tip sandwich and taco salad were also very delicious.

We went to the Humboldt Bar Grill expecting to find a traditional bar grill, but it seems to have changed owners. It's now more of a Mexican restaurant. Good food, great service, and good atmosphere, but it just wasn't what we were expecting when we arrived.They do sell beer and wine, but not mixed cocktails.We enjoyed our beer and wine, and shared an appetizer of the loaded fries. It was good and we will be back.

I feel like this place is having a bit of an identity crisis. It's not sure what it wants to be. Is it a bar and grill or a Mexican restaurant?The staff were friendly and efficient, but the menu seems a bit bi polar...The loaded fries were very good, but asada fries would've been next level.Personally, I think they should commit to the Mexican side of the house. Go full cantina and don't look back!
