In our quest for the best cheeseburger on Long Island, tonight we had to try Bobbys Burger Palace. Located at Roosevelt Mall but not in the mall you enter from the parking lot this place is a cut above fast food. You order at the counter, then find a seat at one of the long, counterlike tables. Your food is brought to you on real plates, not paper. Although there are other options on the menu, burgers are the obvious stars. I ordered the Miami Burger, which is a take on a Cuban sandwich the burger is topped with ham, cheese and pickles. This is not a sloppy, juicy burger. It 's a thick and flavorful patty. Driven by his passion for barbecue and his experiences across the United States, Chef Bobby Flay has created Bobby Burger Palace, or "BBP," which embodies a truly American dining concept. I had my first experience at BBP, located in Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island. For a burger joint, the menu is quite extensive, featuring over a dozen signature burgers, mouthwatering hand-cut fries with a variety of excellent sauces and toppings, generous and hearty salads, and delectable milkshakes. Every item on the menu is crafted from Chef Flay's original recipes.
Overall, I enjoyed the burger, but it was quite tough for some reason. The bread and ingredients were good, though. I couldn't finish the fries because I was full after the burger, but they also seemed tasty. My only issue was with the mayo; sauces are crucial for burger places, and the mayo wasn’t great.
