The Cuban - Garden City

Nice quaint restaurant. The servers were super friendly and tending. I LOVED the guava drink. We enjoyed the pork chop dish,and just LOVED the Plato Illegal, which serves a variety of meats..delicious. The presentation was awesome, as it comes out on a generous sized platter and still sizzles upon serving.Food: 4/5

My friends and I went here and it was an okay experience. The food was decent but the restaurant is WAY TOO LOUD. You can barely order your food without screaming at the waiter. If you want to talk to the people you're with you have to yell at each other. It was a Saturday night so it was busy and getting our waiter's attention was difficult. My friend says it's better and less crowded on the weekday. Maybe I'll give it a whirl on a quieter weekday.

This is a place you head to if you're ready for a party! I'm not sure how the crowd is during the week, but this past Saturday night, pre July 4th holiday weekend, the place was hopping! We got there just in time before it filled up too much! The service was very good. Our waiter Oscar was attentive and friendly. The girl that made our guacamole was also very sweet even tho she didn't speak English. I know a bit of Spanish so we communicated just fine. There was a DJ that was very good. He played some very good Latin music ? and everyone was rocking! Lol. The food was very good and the Red Sangria was pretty good also! ?
