Dong Nae Gil Korean - Gardena

This restaurant is fantastic and definitely underrated. I’m not sure why it isn't more crowded. We ordered the mul naengmyun and kalbi combo, as well as the bossam and daengjan combo, and everything was delicious. My daughter especially loved the kalbi!

As a fan of Korean cuisine, I was eager to visit this restaurant in search of that comforting, home-cooked feel. I was looking for one of those local spots that residents rave about, and I definitely found it here. We went for dinner on a weekday and were seated immediately; it felt clear that we were the only ones who didn’t quite belong. Our server warmly welcomed us and was quick to offer assistance with any questions or to suggest dishes. We decided on a combination of hot stone bibimbap and galbi, and I also ordered the bossam with kimchi. The banchan served was delightful, with the cucumber being my favorite. My only drawback was that it was quite warm inside, leaving me to sweat through the entire meal.

It feels like a family-owned Korean restaurant, offering generous portion sizes along with delicious dishes.

Ordered 3 combo specials, the #55) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and LA Galbi, #56) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and beef bulgogi, and #64) grilled fish and kimchi stew. The bimbimbap was an ideal portion if you have an average appetite, delicious and served hot in clay pots. If you have a larger appetite, I would recommend adding other dishes. I would recommend filling up on all the banchan side dishes) as there are a diverse amount of dishes served. The galbi was well seasoned and marinated with the right amount of chewiness. The bulgogi was a bit dry so add some of the optional spicy sauce to give it an extra kick. The location is moderately busy during lunch on weekends, parking is plenty in the plaza area. Service is really nice and quick. Parking: Not a large plaza but plenty of parking available for your visit
