Írjon visszajelzéstThe owner was extremely friendly and happy to answer our questions, sharing a bit about his work at Glade's Homemade Candy. I chose the birthday cake-covered Oreos, and they were amazing! Next time I’m in Gatlinburg, I’ll definitely have to try something different.
We have been visiting for nearly twenty years and always make it a point to stop by Glades Candies when we are in the Smoky Mountains! Located on the outskirts of the city near Handicrafts Road, this charming shop is owned by Ronnie Connie, who warmly welcomes guests with complimentary samples of fudge. Almost everything is made by hand in copper boilers, including fudge, marshmallows, caramel, giant candy apples, moonlight peanut brittle, fresh peach shakes, ice cream, soft peppermint sticks, taffy, stick candy, jelly, jams, and locally sourced sourwood honey.
You have a fantastic array of delectable homemade sweets, chocolates, fudge, and honey. The chocolate-covered toffee with sea salt was incredible. The shop owners were extremely friendly and helpful; they offered us fudge samples and even a complimentary gift. There are also other shops right next door featuring local artisans. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Gatlinburg area.
Amazingly from the beaten way stop when you visit Gatlinburg. The owners were friendly and helpful and the fudge and ice cream were from this world. Today's special was a Peach Milkshake! Most of the candy is made by the owner (or items like their Taffy is from another local store). You only take cash, so make sure you remember that before you stop – but again when you are in the area of Gatlinburg, make sure you check it!
Love, Love, Love this shop! Fantastic local honey. We always purchase a gallon when we are in town. The older gent is so nice to chat with.
