Prince Albert Hotel Gawler

One of my new favourite places to have a couple of quiet ones, the Prince Albert will not let you go thirsty with a comprehensive range of Craft and Locally made beers. Had a meal here on many occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Great relaxed feel about the place makes for an enjoyable night with mate. The PA is great for a meal, drink, catching up with friends and family or having a function. Meals are changed with the seasons eg winter / summer type meals and majority of drinks are sourced locally which is awesome. Mulled wine is great for a winters day.

We dropped in on a very busy Saturday night and were welcomed (even without a booking) warmly. Staff were proactive in telling us how long our food would be as they were packed to the gills with large groups. Food was excellent and we both agreed we would return again - this is the single greatest bouquet we can hand out so well done P

We dropped in to this hotel for lunch as it does have a reputation for quality meals and some in house brewing which I find hard to resist. But today was a real event people. I had to try their mulled wine (Good shiraz). What a joy! This guy has hit this drink out of the park. Starting with a very good shiraz he has added the botanicals that is so nicely balanced between dry, sweet, citrus, spice. They also serve a mulled cider. Warm, fresh and citrusy. Just perfect. Both great winter drinks and can't wait for that rainy day when I can return and enjoy these drinks. My mate had a succulent burger served with lovely crisp onion rings and my pea and asparagus pasta was spot on tasty. I have rated this hotel before but they still keep on surprising. A nice trendy atmosphere suitable for any occasion.

I love they have music regularly. the meals are nice but a bit expensive. It has a nice, friendly atmosphere, lovely staff. I must go back sometime soon :)
