Sandy Creek - Gawler

My phone died, and I needed Google Maps, so I stopped in to see if I could get it charged. While I waited, I enjoyed a couple of scotches. This charming little Australian pub is nestled between two towns and feels wonderfully authentic. If the walls could speak, I could almost hear their stories. I could easily imagine horses being tied up outside in days gone by. Behind the bar was a lovely woman with her four-year-old child clinging to her leg. Though the pub has some modern features like a large TV screen and a pool table, it still retains its original character. I absolutely loved it.

We absolutely love Sandy Creek! Jo knows how to cook an incredible steak! The staff are always friendly, which is exactly what you expect from an Aussie pub.

Rich in history, the Sandy Creek Hotel offered a cozy retreat on a chilly Sunday. The beer was refreshing and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be returning!

A must visit pub , friendly staff and local’s. Beer garden, outside road front seats
